In 2017, A Fake Doctor Was Arrested For Injecting Cement And Super Glue During Plastic Surgeries

Oneal Ron Morris, infamously known as the “Toxic Tush Doctor,” was sentenced to 10 years in prison in March 2017 for running an illegal cosmetic surgery operation in Florida.

Morris injected patients — and herself — with a hazardous mixture of cement, Fix-a-Flat tire sealant, mineral oil, silicone, and bathroom caulk, then sealed the wounds with super glue. The dangerous DIY cocktail caused severe infections, extreme disfigurement, and the death of patient Shatarka Nuby, who died from respiratory failure.

Morris was first arrested in 2011 for practicing medicine without a license. Her own heavily deformed body from the injections became widely publicized in mugshots. She eventually pleaded no contest to manslaughter and other charges, receiving 10 years in prison followed by five years of probation.

The case remains one of the most shocking examples of black-market cosmetic procedures in the U.S.
