Baton Rouge, Louisiana native QUIKKDRAW is no stranger to the grind. Born and raised in the Eden Park area—affectionately known as “The Park”—QUIKKDRAW began penning lyrics at just nine years old. By 15, he had already recorded his first track, laying the groundwork for what would become a lifelong journey in music and service.
Influenced by hip-hop legends like Juvenile, Mystikal, Jay-Z, Cam’ron, Cassidy, Jadakiss, and Tupac, QUIKKDRAW developed a sound rooted in Southern grit and East Coast lyricism. These early inspirations helped shape his sharp pen game and dynamic delivery, qualities that continue to define his music today.
Now back in the studio, QUIKKDRAW is gearing up to release a new mixtape titled “Put a Beat on GT – GAUTime” (pronounced “Go Time”). Leading the charge is his new single “Back in da Building,” produced by EQ Tha Misfit, with the track “6th Man” set to follow. This project marks a significant return for the seasoned artist, whose contributions to music and the community have left a lasting impact.
QUIKKDRAW is also known for his 15 years of community service, especially through his signature event, the “Uncle Roni Family Fun Day.” Created in partnership with BSHF (Blood and Sweat Hustle Family) and other local groups, the event offered free food, games, entertainment, and fellowship for families in the community. He plans to revamp and relaunch this tradition, bringing new energy to an already meaningful celebration of unity and service.
An industry veteran, QUIKKDRAW’s résumé includes ties to the 730 Dips/Dipset label through Freekey Zekey. He has collaborated with major names including Cam’ron on the “Looz’n My Kup” remix, Gunplay on “Kook Up,” as well as features with Young Bleed, Lil Webbie, and more. While he officially aligned with Dipset in 2016, he emphasizes that despite no longer being under contract, they remain “family forever.”
Outside of music, QUIKKDRAW is an active participant in Baton Rouge’s annual cannabis festival, where he lends his voice to the advocacy of marijuana’s medicinal benefits. Known for keeping it real both in and out of the booth, he uses his platform to uplift and educate while continuing to entertain.
As he readies new music and reignites his community outreach, QUIKKDRAW is proving that it’s not just go time—it’s his time.
