The Barbados-born singer, songwriter, and producer has been making waves in the industry, earning recognition from major publications like OnesToWatch, The Fader, Essence, and V Magazine.
Known for her soulful and soaring vocal stylings, Ayoni blends elements of R&B and Pop, creating a unique sound that resonates with listeners worldwide. Her global perspective—shaped by her experiences living in Singapore, Indonesia, and the United States—is evident in her music, which carries a depth of emotion and storytelling that transcends borders.
Ayoni has collaborated with renowned artists and producers, including Ricky Reed, Snakehips, Full Crate, Michael Calfan, and Kabwasa. In 2023, she made her big screen debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in the documentary Uncharted, produced by Alicia Keys and She Is The Music, which highlights the journeys of BIPOC women in the music industry.
She also gained widespread recognition for her contributions to Noname's critically acclaimed album Sundial,appearing on two tracks. In October 2023, she performed the song "boomboom" alongside Noname on NPR’s Tiny Desk. Following that, in December 2023, Ayoni was selected as an artist-in-residence for the Sofar Sounds London Residency.
