Joseph Thompson, born November 8, 1973, is a name synonymous with innovation and success in the world of hip-hop. Better known by his stage name JT the Bigga Figga (also known as Figg Panamera), this American rapper, record producer, and record executive hails from the Fillmore district of San Francisco, California. With a career spanning decades, JT has left an indelible mark on the music industry, both as an artist and a visionary entrepreneur.

JT's journey into the world of hip-hop began in the early 1990s when he founded the independent record label Get Low Recordz. In 1992, JT made his rap debut with the self-released album "Don't Stop til We Major," showcasing his lyrical prowess and distinctive style. The following year, he followed up with "Playaz N the Game," which featured the hit single "Game Recognize Game," garnering widespread acclaim and propelling JT into the spotlight.

Additionally, JT's talents as a producer and executive led to collaborations with industry heavyweights such as Daz Dillinger, Master P, and Snoop Dogg.

In addition to his contributions to music, JT has ventured into film, with credits including appearances in Spike Lee's "Sucker Free City" and the documentary "SKUZZ TV." He has also collaborated on documentary projects with artists like Snoop Dogg, showcasing his versatility and creative vision.

In recent years, JT has continued to innovate and expand his influence in the entertainment industry. He founded Trapflix, an on-demand service showcasing urban films, documentaries, and music, further cementing his status as a visionary entrepreneur.

Beyond his achievements in music and film, JT is dedicated to spreading his knowledge and promoting the concept of Pan-Africanism, posting daily on his YouTube channel, Trapflix TV. His label, Fillmoelanta, reflects his commitment to bridging communities and creating opportunities for artists.

As one of the most recognized marketing and promotion talents in hip-hop, JT's impact on the culture is undeniable. From his early days in the Fillmore district to his current endeavors in Burkina Faso and beyond, JT the Bigga Figga remains a trailblazer and a true icon of hip-hop.
