In 1992, Charles Cosby initiated contact with Griselda Blanco while she was in prison. After expressing interest, Griselda invited him to visit her in prison, where their relationship began. Charles paid $1,500 to the guards per visit, leading to a business arrangement that turned him into a millionaire.
However, complications arose when Charles started seeing other women, prompting Griselda to use her son to set him up. A hit was ordered, but Charles survived. Upon discovering Charles' escape, Griselda summoned him to the prison, where apologies were exchanged.
Charles, subpoenaed to testify against Griselda, faced challenges as the case unraveled due to her hitman turning informant. Griselda was eventually deported to Colombia after her release.
