#NOLAZINE - New Orleans native and respected dentist Dr. Bre’ is preparing to make a meaningful impact beyond the dental office with the release of her upcoming children’s book this summer. Published by Williams Commerce, the book is designed to help children overcome one of the most common childhood fears—the fear of visiting the dentist.
Through a fun, encouraging, and educational story, Dr. Bre’ hopes to give young readers the confidence they need to view dental visits as a positive experience rather than something to fear. Drawing from her years of experience caring for children, she understands how anxiety can prevent kids from developing healthy dental habits. Her book aims to change that by promoting courage, healthy smiles, and the importance of regular dental care.
The project is also deeply personal. Dr. Bre’ wrote the book as a heartfelt tribute to her son and husband, honoring the love, inspiration, and support they have given her throughout her journey. Their influence is woven into the story, making it not only an educational resource but also a celebration of family, love, and encouragement.
As both a healthcare professional and an author, Dr. Bre’ is passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and families throughout New Orleans and beyond. She hopes her new book will become a valuable resource for parents, teachers, and dental professionals looking for a positive way to prepare children for their dental visits.
The book is scheduled to be released this summer through Williams Commerce.
